Description

AT16 is a height-adjustable pivoting coat rack designed by Osvaldo Borsani in 1961 and reissued in 2012 by Tecno. The central mast of the AT 16 has a structure made up of an outer tube and two concentric sliding tubes in black anodised aluminium, whose locking is guaranteed by polished aluminium washers. The brushed stainless steel sliding ball tubes pass through the central mast. The balls are made of solid beech wood, stained in four different colours; the diameter is 9 cm for the large balls and 3.5 cm for the small ones. The height of the coat rack is adjustable from 270 to 320 cm, for a maximum horizontal space requirement of 69 cm. The installation in support with anti-slip disc on the floor is made thanks to a rod embedded in the ceiling (Ø 1,2cm). Published by Tecno, this coat rack brings a sculptural touch to interiors.
