Ascent is a refined pre-owned table lamp designed by Daniel Rybakken for Luceplan. Intimate and conceptual, it offers infinite variations of light intensity through a highly precise axial dimmer controlled by electronics integrated inside the shade. Circuits within the stem send signals to a microprocessor that reacts to vertical movement, adjusting the light flow accordingly. By sliding the reflector up and down the slender stem, the lamp can be turned on or off and the brightness precisely modulated. Essential in form, sophisticated in technology, and conceptual in its expression of light, Ascent adapts seamlessly to different environments, enhancing the atmosphere and creating the perfect lighting scenario.
