Conçue par Jacopo Roda, un ingénieur qui fait partie de l’équipe de recherche et développement de Fontana Arte, la collection de luminaires Oort est composée d’une ligne lumineuse, uniforme et flexible, positionnée à l’intérieur d’un cylindre en verre cannelé. Ces éléments tubulaires peuvent générer un système infini de compositions et de formes, qui peuvent être combinées à volonté pour répondre à tous les besoins architecturaux et esthétiques. Le verre borosilicaté du luminaire Oort est cannelé à l’intérieur, un dispositif qui améliore la lumière en la rendant chaleureuse et accueillante, fait ressortir l’effet de lumière et d’ombre et permet un nettoyage facile de la surface externe lisse. Sculpturale, l'applique Oort est aussi belle allumée qu’éteinte.

FONTANA ARTE

Luigi Fontana was founded in Milan in 1881 and specialised in the production of glass panels for the construction industry. In 1931, the FontanaArte brand was born and achieved instant success, with the 0024 pendant light by Gio Ponti, who was artistic director of FontanaArte at the time. The Bilia table lamp followed with its timeless design thanks to the perfect balance of its dimensions and the understated elegance of the non-reflective materials used. FontanaArte installed a new oven - the only one in Italy - designed to produce glass panels of all curvatures, in order to inject new momentum into the production of prestigious furnishings.
