Description

The ACX Pad office chair, designed by Antonio Citterio in 2026 and produced by Vitra, represents a new generation of workplace seating that combines ergonomic performance, ease of use, and sustainability. Designed to accommodate a wide range of users, it features a self-adjusting synchronous mechanism that ensures optimal comfort with only one required adjustment, the seat height. Equipped with a padded backrest and an innovative lumbar support currently patent pending, the ACX Pad automatically adapts to the user’s body and movements, providing precise and continuous support. Despite its advanced technical features, it maintains a clean silhouette and a calm, understated aesthetic. Available in a wide selection of fabrics and colors, its upholstery is fully removable and replaceable, making cleaning and maintenance easy while extending the product’s lifespan. Developed with a holistic approach to sustainability, from production to long-term use, the ACX Pad reflects Vitra’s commitment to responsible design with reduced environmental impact.
