Designer Hee Welling sought to develop a chair with undeniable simplicity for the About A Chair collection. An understated, clean design for a chair that works just as well around a dining room table as it does around a conference table, in a canteen or in an office. The designer's aim is to combine form, function, detail and aesthetics. Produced by Danish company Hay, this collection features a wide range of colours and structures. In 2011, Hee Welling added to the collection with stools and armchairs that follow the same philosophy. About A Lounge Chair is available with different legs combined with Kvadrat fabrics, and comes in two sizes. It works perfectly in any environment, whether a home or a business space. Just like the chair, it ensures optimal comfort and perfectly symbolises the purity and understated, timeless style of Scandinavian design.
