Designed by Finnish designer Antti Kotilainen for Arper, the Aava 02 high stool embodies a classic minimalism refreshed with sustainable materials, with its sinuous shell resting on wooden legs. Created for residential settings as well as hospitality and workspaces, the Aava 02 fits naturally at a kitchen island, counter or high table, and can be fitted with a removable seat cushion for extra comfort. Its shell of varying thickness, originally designed in wood and later developed in plastic, is made from post-consumer recycled polypropylene combined with virgin polypropylene, while the wooden base brings natural warmth to its clean silhouette. Made by Arper, the Aava 02 stands out for its timeless lines, its enveloping comfort, its FSC®-certified responsible approach and its durable design, made to be refurbished to extend its lifespan.
