A vacation vibe on the rooftops of Boulogne-Billancourt: Silvera designs the rooftop of the Sources building for Gecina
A rooftop with your feet in the sand
At the top of the Sources building in Boulogne-Billancourt, Gecina, one of France’s leading real estate companies, commissioned Silvera to design a 400 m² rooftop space. The building’s name inspired the project: water, extending all the way to the seashore. Beach, summer, and vacation guide every design choice, in a color palette that blends ocean blues and sandy tones. The Silvera teams designed this space from the ground up.
The rooftop feels like a stroll along the seashore.
Between the terrace and the lounge : a summer tailored just for you
On the terrace, Pedrali’s Panarea high chairs and armchairs set the tone. Their hand-woven design evokes dinners overlooking the sea on the Mediterranean coast. They surround Pedrali’s Anemos table in sand color and the large Matteo teak tables, perfect for lunch in the sun.
Further along, the Picnic high tables by +Halle invite guests to gather around their large circular seats. Above the tables, the Light My Table pendant by Vincent Sheppard forms a string of lights that extends the ambiance until nightfall. In the lounge area, the pace slows down.
The cast-iron Bistrot tables, paired with Vlaemynck’s Tequila chairs, evoke the atmosphere of a seaside café. Isimar’s Bolonia floor lamps cast a soft glow.
Finally, the Paletti sofas and Point ottomans by Fatboy, in Ocean Blue stripes, create a true beach club atmosphere, set on GT Design’s wave-shaped Rime rugs and arranged around Vondom’s Stone coffee table.
La signature Silvera
With this rooftop, the Sources building gains a new outdoor living space, designed for both relaxation and socializing. Each area offers a different way to enjoy it: lunch on the terrace, a convivial gathering around a large table, or a break in the lounge area.
This project reflects Silvera’s approach: drawing inspiration from a place’s identity to create a strong, cohesive atmosphere, then selecting the best outdoor furnishings to bring it to life. Aesthetics, comfort, and durability guide every choice, resulting in a space that’s as pleasing to the eye as it is to experience.
