Jean-Marie Massaud

Jean-Marie Massaud, born in 1966 in Toulouse, graduated from ENSCI in 1990. From his earliest creations, he engaged in a quest for synthesis, reduction, and lightness. He approached various aspects of design, from furniture to industrial products, including equipment. In 2000, he founded the Studio Massaud and expanded his activities to architecture and development strategy. He collaborated with major references such as B&B Italia, Poliform, MDF, as well as brands like Lancôme and Renault. Placing humans and their natural environment at the heart of his creations, he adopts a committed and political approach, striving to make each project a life experience and an economic scenario that reconciles desire and responsibility.

Jean-Marie Massaud stands out for his ability to integrate human needs into his design processes, always seeking to improve everyday quality of life. He favours a holistic approach, where design is not limited to aesthetics but also includes a reflection on environmental and social impact. His creations combine minimalist elegance and comfort, bringing together technology and durable materials.
