The Dealbata vase 9551, designed by Alessandro Mendini in 1986 and published by Zanotta, is a piece of art in its own right. Made from glazed terracotta, its decoration is slightly reminiscent of the Italian artistic movement Memphis, a major movement of the 1980s initiated by Ettore Sottsass.
