Designed in 1963 by the influential Italian architect Carlo De Carli, the Tavolo a Fabriquée is an elegant marriage of function and form, combining structural innovation, expressive materiality and practical excellence. This timeless design reflects a visionary approach, where each element is thought for both its beauty and effectiveness. The round table is ingeniously constructed from FSC® Mix certified birch plywood discs, 3 cm thick and varying diameters, sourced from other responsible sources (FSC® C176589), stacked around a concealed metal core, to form an elegant curve that supports a generous walnut veneer tray, now available in two sizes. This careful structural composition gives the table a sculptural presence while ensuring stability and robustness in everyday life. A steel strip burnished in the brass shade at the base adds material contrast while providing protection. This metallic detail subtly highlights the table’s silhouette, creating a harmonious balance between textures and finishes. Just as suitable for meals, meetings or gatherings, the Tavolo a Harvester is a centerpiece that brings people together, fostering connection and conversation. It naturally establishes itself as a meeting place, conducive to exchanges and shared moments.
