With Cicognino, Franco Albini has created an iconic side table with a refined design and playful shape that invokes a reassuring sense of familiarity. The designer has reduced the structure of the table to a few simple, elegant elements: three slender support legs, a surface 40 cm in diameter and a sheet of wood that frames the table like a tray. One of the legs is longer than the others and ends in a practical handle, making it easy to move the object. The top of the Cicognino pedestal side table by Cassina plays a crucial role in linking the different parts of the table, reinforcing the sense of balance and stability. Cicognino is distinguished by great attention to detail and an original shape that gives it remarkable expressiveness.
