The finish of the second-hand DOT stool is achieved using a traditional lacquer applied entirely by hand, following a meticulous and demanding process. A minimum of 18 layers of lacquer, carefully sanded between each application, is required to achieve a perfectly smooth and even surface. This patient work gives each piece remarkable depth and unique color intensity, subtly revealing the richness of the shades and the quality of the artisanal touch. The stool shows a slight sign of wear, discreet and well-integrated, which does not affect its aesthetics or functionality.
