And Tradition édite la collection Sett, une série de tables mettant en valeur la beauté innée du marbre et du verre, inspirée d'une technique de joaillerie, où des pierres précieuses sont incrustées et « serties » avec précision dans un cadre. Conçu par Luca Nichetto, le design de Sett est pointu et sophistiqué, faisant allusion à l’influence du fonctionnalisme scandinave imprégné de l’accent italien de Nichetto sur les objets à impact visuel.

Luca NICHETTO
Luca Nichetto studied industrial design at Iuav University in Venice, graduating in 1998. He then became a product designer and consultant for the famous lighting company Foscarini. In 2006, he founded his own design agency in Venice, Nichetto & Partners, before moving to Stockholm, Sweden, to open a second agency. He currently lives and works there. His work has won numerous international awards. His innovative side stands out, as does the variety of fields he explores, from the design of new products to interior design and architecture projects. Luca Nichetto pays great attention to detail and innovation in his designs. "Functionality and emotion are essential if an object is to be complete," he says. Since the start of his career, he has worked with a host of partners, including AndTradition, Cassina, Coedition, La Chance, Moroso, Kristalia and Petite Friture. His iconic pieces also include the You sofa.

And Tradition is a Danish brand founded in 2010 by Martin Kornbek Hansen. The brand offers furniture, lighting, and accessories from the 1930s to the present day. And Tradition designs practical pieces for everyday use. And Tradition adapts this heritage to contemporary design, redefining and reinventing materials and shapes, while respecting nature, which provides the essential raw materials. The company does not hesitate to reissue classics, such as the lighting designs of Verner Panton, including the collection of Flowerpot Table Lamps and Flowerpot Pendants.
