Designed by the Studiopepe design studio, the Stami bench stands out for its clean lines and low-slung silhouette, favouring a generously proportioned seat. Gallotti & Radice created this piece in the Italian spirit that defines its collection, combining rigour of volumes with everyday comfort. The solid black-stained ash base contrasts with the bouclé cream upholstered seat, giving the Stami bench a look that is both sculptural and warm. This interplay between raw material and plush seating allows Stami to suit both a contemporary living room and a more formal reception space. Offered here as pre-owned, this Stami bench shows some light signs of wear on the base, quiet traces of its history, and reflects Gallotti & Radice's sustainable craftsmanship, giving its future owners a characterful piece with a reduced footprint.

For Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, the ultra-creative duo behind the Studiopepe agency, it all began in 2006 on the benches of Milan's prestigious Politecnico. This city, which sets the tempo for the whole of Italy, soon smiled on the two brilliant graduates. In the space of ten years, their multidisciplinary vision, inherited from the richness of their respective studies - interior architecture in the case of one, industrial design in the case of the other - has hit the mark. Styling advice for magazine pages, set designs, boutique makeovers and, more recently, interior design, Studiopepe has proved one thing: its ability to get people talking. Their philosophy is based on a conceptual approach inspired by the unexpected, and on extensive iconographic and visionary experience, generating unique results.Their attention to detail, and the emotion they can generate in people, is fundamental to their projects. The initial brief was very clear: to bring together furniture and family heirlooms with contemporary pieces. With colour, Studiopepe unfurls an elegant and warm imagination. One impressive piece follows another, dusted off by a tasteful blend of luxurious materials (brass, marble, velvet), rare and reissued creations (including those by Gio Ponti and Angelo Mangiarotti) and vintage items.

GALLOTTI & RADICE
Two minds, one aspiration, one desire. The desire to create, transform and interpret. A common passion: glass. The result: the creation of a laboratory of ideas. That was back in 1955. Pierangelo Gallotti and Luigi Radice founded an artistic space dedicated to glass decoration. Tradition and innovation blended together to create small-scale, precious production. Light fixtures, furniture, and mirrors were the first products to be made. All parts were unique and made exclusively by hand. Founders Luigi Radice and Piarangelo Gallotti shared the company's origins and artisanal philosophy: Growing, innovating, researching.
