Mika Tolvanen de Muuto's Restore series has been expanded to include the Restore Tray, a small basket that can be used as both storage and a tray. 100% ecological, it is made of felt produced from plastic bottles. Restore's finish lends a certain refinement to the object, which can be used in the living room for magazines or objects that are lying around as well as in an office to store papers.

Mika TOLVANEN
Born in Lieksa (Finland) in 1975, Mika Tolvanen opened his studio in Helsinki, in an old coffee shop in the Töölö district. Bureau Mika Tolvanen designs furniture, lighting as well as consumer goods. Mika Tolvanen is a Finnish designer of furniture, lighting and interior design products. Mika Tolvanen explains that his design focuses on function: "My products are meant to be used, but that doesn't mean they can't be beautiful. I don't have any dogmas, but I believe that good design comes from an understanding of materials and a desire to improve the way they work. An object can have a complex range of functions, but it shouldn't be complicated". As a result, his creations focus on two essential aspects of design: aesthetics and function. It's a balance that reveals rigorous work and expertise, an assiduous mastery of materials and a sensitive eye for Nordic aesthetics.
