Soft Corners, published by
Cassina, is a collection of versatile and functional architectural elements designed by Dutch designer Linde Freya Tangelder. At the heart of this collection are three types of
stools made up of freely-assemblable elements, suitable for any room in the house. Their elementary geometry conceals a multitude of functions, expressing dynamism and freshness. Born of the young designer's experimental research, the
poufs Soft Corners received cultural support from
Cassina. This collaboration explored the link between collection design and large-scale production. Each
Soft Corners seated footstool has a wooden structural core, with soft padded rubbers allowing for assembly and detachment, in keeping with the
Cassina LAB philosophy. The
Soft Corners poufs are available in three different sizes - 35, 45 cm for the individual poufs and 120 cm for the two-seater pouf. Their fabric coverings can be chosen from the
Cassina collections. In contrast, the
Soft Corners collection also includes an industrial-style coffee table in stainless steel.
