Description

Cassina draws inspiration from the genius of Le Corbusier to create an exclusive collection of three modern trays in pure unglazed porcelain. The Chandigarh tray collection is the result of a collaboration between Cassina and Ginori 1735. Each tray, inspired by symbolic drawings of the city of Chandigarh designed by Le Corbusier, features unique bas-reliefs. These functional art pieces embody subjects traced by the Master in 1956: an open hand symbolising peace on a square tray with rounded corners, a fish on a round tray, and the movement of the sun on a rectangular tray. The Chandigarh porcelain tray collection fuses the architectural inspiration of Le Corbusier with the exceptional craftsmanship of Ginori 1735, offering a refined visual experience and a connection to the legacy of the famous architect.
