Like
noctambules, these lamps are veritable birds of the night: almost invisible during the day, they prove fascinating at night... During the day,
Noctambule by
Flos is an ethereal luminaire with a discreet presence, despite its imposing proportions. Once night falls,
Noctambule becomes the actor in an exceptional light scenography. The LED sources are discreetly integrated into the junctions between the glass modules. These luminous rings divide the slender silhouette and give rhythm to the space. The diffused light spreads over the entire surface of the glass, which becomes shiny. A designer renowned for his clean lines and functional rigour, Konstantin Grcic has designed the
Noctambule lighting collection. In this project, we find his appetite for exploring new typologies. The
Noctambule lamps by
Flos are made up of a stack of transparent modules, handcrafted from blown glass. The modules are held in place by an internal structure made of black lacquered metal. The geometric shapes are superimposed, giving rise to sculptural constructions that offer an extraordinary balance between proportions and the elegance of the materials.
