Interested in the way paintings and photos are framed, the Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen design studio sought to create a mirror frame that does not overpower the beauty and reflection of the mirror itself. The result is Nimbus, a simple, sleek mirror in brass and lightweight mirrored glass that defines a space with its sophisticated yet calming round shape. Mirrors are not only functional: for centuries they have reflected the style of an era. Menu takes the fundamentals of the mirror and applies them to a modern style, while adding a mythological detail. The name "Nimbus", in Greek mythology, was a shining cloud or halo that often surrounded a deity when depicted on Earth. With its brass ring secured by decorative screws, the Nimbus circular mirror from Menu brings light and enlarges space with a touch of elegance.
