Designed in 1951 by the famous designer Gino Sarfatti, this icon of Italian lighting captivates with its perfect balance and play of indirect light. This pre-owned Model 548 lamp features a large adjustable methacrylate diffuser and a metal spotlight, offering soft and dimmable lighting thanks to its integrated LED dimmer. Although it is a second-hand model, the Model 548 has been carefully preserved and reflects all the technical expertise of Gino Sarfatti and the manufacturing quality of Astep.

On June 1, 2017, Flos and Alessandro Sarfatti announced that the company Astep – founded by Alessandro Sarfatti – would distribute lighting designs by the renowned Italian master Gino Sarfatti, who had sold the Arteluce brand and collection to Flos in 1973. With the utmost respect for Gino Sarfatti's cultural legacy, and sharing a mission for innovation in design, they continue to explore the Arteluce collection together in order to reissue a selection of the designer's lighting pieces. The Flos with Sarfatti collection is a tribute to Gino Sarfatti, the Italian lighting master, who designed more than 600 installations between 1939 and 1973.
