Éditée par ClassiCon , cette pièce reflète le savoir-faire et la qualité de fabrication propres à ClassiCon, reconnue pour ses créations iconiques et intemporelles. Avec sa silhouette structurée et son confort étudié, Mars s’intègre aussi bien dans un intérieur contemporain que dans un espace plus éclectique. Cette version d’occasion présente toutefois des traces d’usage : on note la présence de tâches blanches sur le tissu, visibles par endroits. Ces marques n’altèrent pas la solidité ni la fonctionnalité de la chaise, mais sont à prendre en compte dans son appréciation esthétique. Konstantin GRCIC
Born in Munich, Germany, in 1965, Konstantin Grcic trained as a cabinetmaker at Parnham College, Dorset, before studying industrial design at the Royal College of Art in London. From 1990 to 1991 he worked in Jasper Morrison's studio in London. In 1991, he set up his own structure in Munich, "Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design", which served as both his workshop and studio. Since then, he has been designing furniture, objects and lamps for renowned manufacturers such as Magis and Flos. An adept of a functionalism that is "contemporary, feasible and concrete", his creations are not simply minimalist, but radical, pure, direct and simple, while never repeating themselves. With the publisher Plank, Konstantin Grcic is experimenting with cantilever seating and has created Miura, a stackable bar stool with sharp lines.

ClassiCon is a designer furniture brand who excels at producing yesterday's masterpieces and tomorrow's classics. The brand is focused on the quality and originality of its products and sells innovative and unique pieces. The entire collection is made by hand in Germany and is part of the art crafts industry. ClassiCon classics include Sebastian Herkner’s Bell Table series, and the Adjustable Table E 1027, whose original shape and ingenious dimensions led it to become a design icon, featured in the New York MoMA collection. ClassiCon focuses on quality and timeless aesthetics, reproducing the works of great designers such as Eileen Gray, and collaborating with the innovative designers of today.
