The
LTR, Low Table Rod Base, was designed in 1950 by the designer couple
Charles and Ray Eames as a small side coffee table allowing many variations and used in different forms in their own house, the
Eames House. Edited by
Vitra, there are still today a large number of these tables, arranged separately or grouped, decorated with objects from the
Eames collection or simply acting as a tablet near an armchair and a sofa. The
LTR coffee table is now part of the Vitra Design Museum collection. The chestnut top is available with an intricate base consisting of two U-shaped galvanized steel rods, with crosspieces that provide the stability needed to ensure their functionality. The base is available in white or stainless steel finish, depending on the desired finish. A
