Description
To celebrate 10 years of collaboration with designer Luca Nichetto, &Tradition is launching a limited edition of the Lato table, a model that combines craftsmanship and emotion. This limited edition reinterprets the original design with striking new materials. Produced in only 100 copies, it retains its sculptural beauty while introducing a new material expression. A milky onyx base is inspired by the language of precious stones, a recurring theme in Nichetto's creative universe, and the natural variations in the stone ensure that each table is unique. Brushed steel adds a modern, industrial touch.
Inspired by memories of the sweets his grandmother gave him as a child, Lato's design is clearly linked to Nichetto's heritage. Its shape, reminiscent of an inverted lollipop, is both graphic and poetic, defined by a solid stone base and a slender stem that rises towards a rounded top.
Each piece in this limited and numbered edition is unique thanks to the natural variations in the stone. Find the limited edition Lato LN8 in our Bastille showroom.

Luca NICHETTO
Luca Nichetto studied industrial design at Iuav University in Venice, graduating in 1998. He then became a product designer and consultant for the famous lighting company Foscarini. In 2006, he founded his own design agency in Venice, Nichetto & Partners, before moving to Stockholm, Sweden, to open a second agency. He currently lives and works there. His work has won numerous international awards. His innovative side stands out, as does the variety of fields he explores, from the design of new products to interior design and architecture projects. Luca Nichetto pays great attention to detail and innovation in his designs. "Functionality and emotion are essential if an object is to be complete," he says. Since the start of his career, he has worked with a host of partners, including AndTradition, Cassina, Coedition, La Chance, Moroso, Kristalia and Petite Friture. His iconic pieces also include the You sofa.
