TheTopo desk lamp Topo by Stilnovo is a fascinating automotive-inspired object: the slots on the metal cap recall the air intakes on 1960s sports cars, while the shape of the lampshade matches the envelope of the classic E27 bulb housed inside, like a body on the underlying engine. The metal articulated arms of the Stilnovo Topo Lamp allow the lamp to be extended or retracted at will, for lighting tailored to your needs.

Founded in 1946 by Bruno Gatta in the heart of Milan, Stilnovo is an Italian brand specializing in designer lighting. Awarded several times at the Milan Triennale and the prestigious Compasso d’Oro (Golden Compass), Stilnovo boasts a catalog filled with iconic pieces, such as the Saliscendi suspension light, designed in 1957 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for the Milan Chamber of Commerce. Over the years, Stilnovo has collaborated with renowned designers such as Ettore Sottsass, Gae Aulenti, and Piero Castiglioni, who created the Minibox table lamp in 1981.
