After decades of discontinuation, Mads Caprani's Timberline table lamp is finally returning to the homes of design lovers worldwide. Created by the Danish lighting designer in the 1970s, Timberline quickly became Caprani's signature product—a playfully curved, gooseneck lamp that captures the language of 1970s Scandinavian design while simultaneously transcending it, becoming one of those rare pieces that can fit effortlessly into any space, regardless of style.
Produced by Gubi, the Timberline table lamp takes its name from Caprani's fascination with the tree line. Nature's inherent limit to the altitude at which trees can grow, the transition point in the landscape between wood and rock. In this lamp, he translated the notion of a natural boundary into an abrupt material juxtaposition between wood and iron.
