Designed in 1965 by the designer Elio Martinelli, the Serpente table lamp is published by the Italian house Martinelli Luce.
A lamp with a singular aesthetic, Serpente is made by fusing methacrylate moulding techniques that were completely innovative for the time. The adjustable diffuser of Serpente is subtly linked to its base by a rotating metal arm, which really gives it the appearance of the reptile from which it borrows its name.
The SerpenteMartinelli Luce table lamp fully personifies Italian design. It brings roundness and sophistication to all interiors; its lighting is particularly effective in offices, living rooms and reading areas.
