The Putki table lamp was originally designed for the reopening of the Swedish Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. The collective of designers of the Putki lamp - including Matti Klenell - included Iittala, which publishes the luminaire to this day.
The glass shade of the Putki lamp, mouth-blown at the Iittala glassworks in Finland, rests on a steel base powder-coated in a terracotta colour.
Scaled up for the launch of a new collection, the Putki lamp from Iittala offers the sophisticated design of a ribbed glass lantern, and the softness of a soft, subdued light that suits any interior.
