Description

Designed by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni in 1981 for Stilnovo, the Minibox table lamp features a metal body, a comfortable handle and an irreverent luminous eye, reminiscent of the aesthetics of miners' lamps. The Minibox head's magnetic coupling lets you direct the light, making it suitable for any space, even the most unexpected.

Founded in 1946 by Bruno Gatta in the heart of Milan, Stilnovo is an Italian brand specializing in designer lighting. Awarded several times at the Milan Triennale and the prestigious Compasso d’Oro (Golden Compass), Stilnovo boasts a catalog filled with iconic pieces, such as the Saliscendi suspension light, designed in 1957 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for the Milan Chamber of Commerce. Over the years, Stilnovo has collaborated with renowned designers such as Ettore Sottsass, Gae Aulenti, and Piero Castiglioni, who created the Minibox table lamp in 1981.
