Description
With this lampstand, Jonas Wagell and Menu have reworked the dimensions of the JWDA table lamp to create a streamlined luminaire with a strong personality. Its simple design combines contrasting elements for a very elegant effect: installed on a steel rod, the elliptical-shaped diffuser is made of opal glass, while the base retains its characteristic shape, created in marble with soft edges and punctuated by a decorative switch with dimmer switch in brass or bronze finish. With its inspiration drawn from traditional oil lamps, the JWDA floor lamp by Menu brings a soft, warm ambience to any room in the house.

Jonas WAGELL
Jonas Wagell is an architect and designer from Stockholm. Born in 1973, he trained as a graphic designer before specialising in interior design in Stockholm.The JWDA studio, which specialises in architecture, product design and brand identity management, was founded in 2008 and is now based in a converted car repair workshop in central Stockholm, but collaborations extend from Scandinavia to China, Italy and North America. Jonas Wagell likes to create functional objects that are both simple and intelligent: objects that can be used and understood easily by the people who choose them.JWDA's most famous project is the prefabricated mini-home known as the "Mini House": for this project, in 2008 Wallpaper magazine ranked Jonas Wagell among the 50 best young architects to watch closely. Today, JWDA focuses on product design for Scandinavian and international brands.

AUDO COPENHAGEN
Audo Copenhagen was founded in Fredensborg in 1979 by Simon Hansen. In the early days, the brand only sold accessories and tableware. Stainless steel was the main material used for tableware. However, in 1988 Audo Copenhagen overhauled its production and expanded its product range. Innovative products were developed and product design was modernised in terms of quality, design and development. Audo Copenhagen is rooted to Scandinavian traditions and its accessories have an undeniably Nordic charm.
