With the collection of
luminaires IC, designer Michael Anastassiades explores the laws of balance. Here, the Cypriot designer found his inspiration in an acrobat who could spin balls on his fingertips. Michael Anastassiades explains: "I came across a video of a juggler. He was spinning a set of balls, moving them along his arms and to his fingertips. And as I was fascinated by the magic of his art, suddenly the bullets seemed perfectly still. I wanted to capture that precise moment. That was my starting point". Published by

IC light T1 High lamp relies on the physical principles of balance to give the illusion of floating in air. The table lamp consists of a blown glass sphere that appears to be balanced on a thin metal rod thanks to a barely visible joint. The tripod on which the diffuser hangs is shaped like a bird's foot, creating a sensation of lightness. The diffuser is made from white blown glass, giving off a soft, warm light with a spherical shape that spreads the light over 360°. The
IC light T1 High features a dimmer. This means you can adjust the level of brightness for an office or dining room. Noble materials such as brushed brass and chromed steel give the lamp a light, voluptuous, minimalist feel. Existing in two 20cm diameter versions, the
IC light T1 High available in different heights.
