Description
Francis is a mirror created by Constance Guisset for Petite Friture. The motif used for Francis is the result of a collection of experiments with colour using pigments leaked into water, guided by a circular design. The result is an illusion of convexity. A make-up palette or a mirror ageing? The user looks at themself through luminous oxidation, evocative of a planet. The back of the mirror, shaped like a spinning-top, has a practical cord in the centre from which to hang it, causing it to lean forwards, in the style of certain Venetian mirrors, creating an elegant atmosphere in an entrance hall or bedroom.
