The Settle armchair designed by Anderssen & Voll for Muuto is part of the Settle collection of which the Settle sofas are a part. It has an aerated steel frame and mahogany wood armrests, guaranteeing comfort and sturdiness. The galvanised, primed and powder-coated structure resists corrosion for long-lasting use. The Settle armchair also has cushions whose fabric dries quickly in showers, so it will last all year round when the protective covers are used. ANDERSSEN & VOLL
Founded in 2009 by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll, Anderssen & Voll is a Norwegian design studio based in Oslo. The duo, who were previously partners in the Norway Says group, work in a variety of design fields but concentrate on domestic objects. They have been named Norwegian and Scandinavian Designer of the Year and have received international awards for their work with furniture, lighting and home accessories. In their view, a good product builds on and extends tradition while simultaneously breaking with the rules of that tradition. Their iconic creations include the Outline seating series, the Oslo lounge chair, the Elephant table and the unique Ildhane candlestick. Their many collaborations with famous publishers such as Lapalma, Muuto, Hay and AndTraditon have contributed to their reputation.
