Designed by Piero Lissoni for Viccarbe, Ears is a collection of versatile chairs with the soul of a true icon. Light in terms of materials and resistant to time, its winding shapes take us back to the 1970s classics. Its balanced composition (as small as it is comfortable) makes Ears a perfect chair for both communities and private interiors. Available with a metal or wooden base it comes in a wide range of finishes and with the option for armrests. The Ears chair represents a return to the roots of industrial design, a tribute to the forms and materials that inspired the first creations of the Viccarbe brand.

Piero LISSONI

Born in Seregno in 1956, Piero Lissoni graduated from the Milan School of Architecture in 1985. In 1986, he opened his own firm specialising in industrial design, interior architecture and graphic design. He has worked for a number of Italian design companies, including Kartell, and has also been responsible for the coordinated image, communication campaigns and the creation of showrooms. Today, Piero Lissoni divides his time between architecture and design. An enthusiast of minimalism, including industrial minimalism, he also works in the marine furniture sector. The designer of numerous hotels, showrooms and villas, he also designed all the Boffi and Cassina shops in Europe, the United States and Japan. His refined, technical style has been perfectly at home at Glas Italia since 2004, and as architect he is currently completing the company's head office in Macherio.
