In addition to his design work, Ronan Bouroullec is also an artist. He creates intricate drawings by hand, using intuitive sequences of lines drawn with a Japanese felt-tip brush. The contours of Courier can be seen as an expression of this artistic approach, while also showcasing Bouroullec’s keen sense of form and composition, as well as his technical expertise.
