Its backrest and seat are made from recycled polypropylene plastic, giving a new lease of life to this plastic with its many industrial applications. Made 100% in Europe from durable, hard-wearing materials, this TIPTOE chair is firmly focused on the future of furniture. SSDr assembles in 2 minutes with a single screw. It is delivered flat-packed in packaging made from 80% recycled paper and 3 times more compact than a conventional chair, reducing CO2 emissions during storage and shipping. The various components of the SSDr chair have been carefully selected to enable the chair to be not only recycled, but also 100% recyclable. The result of long and daring work, the SSDr chair aims to prove that it is possible to give a second life to waste materials to create beautiful and useful objects.

TIPTOE

The demand for Tiptoe products of impeccable quality is rooted in a family heritage spanning three generations of entrepreneurs. In 1947, Henri Bourgeaux, the grandfather of Matthieu Bourgeaux (the founder of Tiptoe), established a company near Chamonix in Haute-Savoie specializing in metal machining, particularly in a process known as "décolletage" (precision turning). The company was later taken over by Matthieu's father and uncle, and more recently by his brother. The family workshop remains one of Tiptoe's main partners, producing thousands of mechanical parts every year that make up the components of their various products.
