In 2015, Verpan rediscovered a forgotten chair in the Panton Archives. First unveiled in 1967, it was produced for a very short time. Based on the original drawings and notes by Verner Panton, Verpan was able to reimagine this magnificent design, adapting it to modern standards. Verner Panton had designed the Series 430 chair as a study with the aim of providing the same comfort as an armchair. It achieves this by applying a traditional webbing system to the fully upholstered seat, to adapt to the body's weight. This is complemented by a wide, wraparound backrest and a lightweight, elegant structure mounted on the outside of the seat and backrest. Stackable, refined and comfortable, Series 430 is a truly multi-purpose chair that will look equally at home in a restaurant or office.
