Description
A synthesis of an experimental approach to materials and craftsmanship, the Med chair was imagined and created by designers Lodovico Acerbis and Giotto Stoppino in 1983. Med is currently being reissued by Italian house Acerbis, following the rediscovery of the original project in the brand's archives.
The Med chair by Acerbis features an astonishing interplay of curves and edges, and is adorned with delicate proportions in its composition but above all in its base. The layout of the latter suggests the Flatiron Building in Manhattan, New York; the graphic elements that make up Med make it a seat with a particularly elaborate design, and compatible with a wide variety of tables.
All these assets, including the chair's surprising versatility, attest to Acerbis's excellent choice when it comes to incorporating Med into its collection of remastered creations.
