Description
The petit fauteuil Dudet strongly evokes 70s design. The structure of this seat is made up of three individual upholstered elements, creating a small architecture. There's a seat cushion and two tubular shapes that fluidly form the legs, armrests and backrest, forming a continuous line. Designed by Patricia Urquiola and published by Cassina, the Dudet armchair stands out for its supple, comfortable appearance. What's more, the various elements of the petit fauteuil Dudet are easily dismantled, allowing a circular approach. An innovative system separates the metal structure from the polyurethane foam padding, which includes a percentage of polyols of biological origin. This makes it easier not only to dispose of materials separately, but also to recycle them. The Dudet armchairfrom Cassina combines retro design with an ecological conscience thanks to its dismountable elements and material recycling system. Its welcoming look and commitment to sustainability make it an attractive choice for design lovers.

Patricia URQUIOLA
Born in Oviedo in 1961, Patricia Urquiola attended the Faculty of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Polytechnic School of Milan, where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni as her thesis supervisor. She was his assistant at the Polytechnic School of Milan from 1990 to 1992. From 1990 to 1996, she worked in the product development department for De Padova, where she collaborated with Vico Magistretti. In 1996, she became head of design at Lissoni Associati. In 2001, Patricia Urquiola opened her own design studio, where she works on design, installations and architecture. In 2005, together with her colleague Eliana Gerotto, Patricia Urquiola developed a collection of lighting for Foscarini. Their Caboche pendant, ceiling, floor and table lamps reinterpret the 1960s plastic bracelet-style crystal chandelier with pendants. After several European boutiques, she has just designed the interior architecture of the sublime Mandarin Oriental in Barcelona. Patricia Urquiola designs both outdoor furniture, with the Pavo real armchair, and accessories for Alessi.

Founded by Cesare and Umberto Cassina in Meda near Milan in 1927, the Cassina brand is famous for editing the iconic Le Corbusier armchairs, among other exceptional pieces of furniture.
