As a tribute to Pierre Jeanneret, Cassina issued thesmall Capitol Complex armchair, one of the most famous pieces of furniture created for the Capitol Complex in Chandigarh, an Indian city created by Le Corbusier in the 1950s. The Chair with armrests Capitol Complex features original solid oak construction with a cane seat. Its various parts, including the inverted V-shaped side bars that support the armrests, are all made from solid wood. The backrest and seat are woven and stretched over a wooden frame.
