Designed by Angelo Mangiarotti, the Tre 3 chair edited by Agapecasa stands out for its sleek silhouette and remarkable work of materials. A single leather sheet elegantly forms the back and seat, delicately inserted into the solid wood structure. This design highlights the flexibility of the leather and the precision of the assemblies, in a balance inspired by the great classics of Italian design. Both sober and refined, the Tre 3 chair reflects the attention to detail of Angelo Mangiarotti and fits as well around a dining table as in a workspace or reception. This used chair has visible usage marks. The leather upholstery has several superficial scratches and signs of friction, particularly on the backrest and seat, as well as some more pronounced marks visible in the photographs. The wooden structure also has slight scratches and signs of use on certain legs. These defects are mainly aesthetic and do not affect the stability, comfort or quality of the second-hand Tre 3 chair.
In 2009, the Benedini brothers acquired the production rights to the majority of designer Angelo Mangiarotti's work. This marked the birth of Agapecasa, a brand dedicated to the reissuing of original pieces from the Mangiarotti Collection. All projects produced by Agapecasa are based on Mangiarotti's designs and rooted in studies of the original models. Each piece, conceived from the 1950s onward, has been thoroughly analyzed from a technical and constructive perspective, then reinterpreted to meet the evolving needs of our time and comply with today’s standards of quality, durability, and safety.
