Born from the collaboration between Tacchini and the British designer Faye Toogood, the Bread side table belongs to the Bread and Butter collection, a project that says a lot about the spirit that drives it: to find in the simplest gestures of everyday life, in the most familiar objects, a material to sculpt, to reinvent, to elevate. The shape of the table is directly inspired by stacked slices of bread, translated into organic and sculptural volumes that make each piece an object at the border of furniture and sculpture, faithful to the experimental and playful approach that characterizes the studio Toogood. Made of solid ash wood whose finish highlights the natural grain of the wood in all its richness, it incorporates a maple marquetry tinted with a delicate primrose yellow a touch of soft color that evokes, with an unfeigned poetry, the buttery toast in the morning and creates a visual effect that is as unexpected as it is fair.
