The Belvedere chair, created by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, is inspired by the timeless elegance of the Belvedere Palace in Vienna, a symbol of art and tradition. It delicately combines the heritage of Viennese chairs with the innovation specific to Kartell, which here explores contemporary materials and avant-garde technical solutions. The Vienna straw, emblem of artisanal know-how, is combined with a structure in recycled plastic to offer a chair that is both light, modern and resolutely distinctive. These two materials, which appear to be opposed, match perfectly to give birth to a new style and immediately recognizable. Belvedere embodies a subtle balance between tradition and technology, past and future. With its sober and structured aesthetic, it crosses trends to assert itself as a piece of contemporary sophistication. More than a tribute to Viennese design, it offers a future-oriented rereading, defining a new aesthetic language.
