First conceived for Social Seating, an open-air exhibition held in Finland, Banco double starts from a simple ambition: to make time spent in nature even more enjoyable. Produced by Fritz Hansen since 2022, this outdoor bench has been carefully contoured to support the body and invite you to linger. Soft, rounded lines reveal its handcrafted character. Built from FSC-certified teak, Banco double gradually weathers to an elegant silvery patina. Generous in size, it offers ample room to settle in and enjoy the view. Working between Copenhagen and Porto, Portuguese designer Hugo Passos is drawn to everyday objects with a reassuringly familiar feel, shaped around the human body and true to their purpose. With Banco double, Fritz Hansen celebrates the simple pleasure of life outdoors.
