The Ceramic Sconce Wall by Contain embodies an approach to design deeply rooted in local culture, where raw materials and contemporary aesthetics dialogue with subtlety. Through this creation, the brand reveals the potential of native resources, combined with an innovative vision and a demanding know-how to give birth to singular pieces. This wall lamp is the result of a close collaboration with the Majorcan artisan Paco Romero, founder of Ceramica Primitiva. Together, they sign a collection that celebrates the meeting between tradition and contemporary creation. Installed in Galilea, in the heart of the mountains of Tramuntana, Paco Romero shapes clay in an instinctive and raw way to create the Ceramic Sconce Wall. Each piece is entirely made by hand, without a potter’s wheel, using natural tools such as stones, pebbles or wood. This slow and deliberately controlled process gives each applique its own identity, marked by the gesture of the craftsman and the time devoted to its creation. Produced in very limited series, the Ceramic Sconce Wall celebrates authentic craftsmanship where the material is freely expressed. It illustrates the desire of Contain to create a dialogue between local heritage and contemporary design, in a sensitive and inspiring approach.
