The Afteroom Coat Hanger is a simple rack for crazy coats, clothes and hats. The Stockholm-based design duo Afteroom is driven by a passion for proportions, materials and different cultures. Each of their objects, and notably this coat rack, displays the same simplicity inspired by Scandinavian design. Produced by Menu, Afteroom is very easy to mount on the wall and the screws are hidden inside the frame to further enhance its simple and streamlined appearance.

AFTEROOM

Afteroom is a design studio based in Stockholm. Founded and run by Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei, its mission is simply to create beautiful products that will increase in value over time, thanks to design that never gets old.The duo reflect on the past as a pathway to the future, with the intention that their products will grow like treasures, and take their place for the next generation of designers. The studio's philosophy revolves around simplicity and honesty.The Afteroom collection includes furniture, lighting and home accessories. For all products, the designers always focus on functional design - as with the Afteroom bench for Menu, where a small side table was attached to the bench. However, this is done without excess material, because Afteroom furniture is characterised by its minimalist, simple forms.
