The Afteroom bench complements the chair in the same family, a tribute to Bauhaus and functionalism. Indeed Afteroom from Menu reduces the amount of materials to a minimum and advocates aesthetics. An occasional table is often seen next to a bench, so why not transform the two pieces into one? Stockholm-based studio Afteroom seeks above all to create beautiful products that respect the wear and tear and passage of time, creating value as the ages progress. The designers draw inspiration from their passion for shapes, senses, proportions, materials and cultures. Their whole philosophy revolves around simplicity and honesty. AFTEROOM
Afteroom is a design studio based in Stockholm. Founded and run by Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei, its mission is simply to create beautiful products that will increase in value over time, thanks to design that never gets old.The duo reflect on the past as a pathway to the future, with the intention that their products will grow like treasures, and take their place for the next generation of designers. The studio's philosophy revolves around simplicity and honesty.The Afteroom collection includes furniture, lighting and home accessories. For all products, the designers always focus on functional design - as with the Afteroom bench for Menu, where a small side table was attached to the bench. However, this is done without excess material, because Afteroom furniture is characterised by its minimalist, simple forms.

AUDO COPENHAGEN
Audo Copenhagen was founded in Fredensborg in 1979 by Simon Hansen. In the early days, the brand only sold accessories and tableware. Stainless steel was the main material used for tableware. However, in 1988 Audo Copenhagen overhauled its production and expanded its product range. Innovative products were developed and product design was modernised in terms of quality, design and development. Audo Copenhagen is rooted to Scandinavian traditions and its accessories have an undeniably Nordic charm. Audo Copenhagen Menu's philosophy is simple: make the world better, less complicated, and a little more pleasant to look at. Audo Copenhagen Menu sells intelligent solutions with functional details.
