Description

Danish designer Hans Hornemann drew inspiration from his own life in Copenhagen to create the Ace series for Norman Copenhagen. The Ace series is aimed at city dwellers, who prioritise quality and aesthetics but also need to adapt to the limited space of city life. With its organic, user-friendly lines, Ace offers maximum comfort in a condensed form. When designing Ace, Hans Hornemann worked on the basic components of a chair - back, seat and legs - and created a functional and aesthetic design with a smaller footprint than traditional lounge furniture. The design of the Ace chair strikes a fine balance between refinement and relaxation. The rounded contours underline the welcoming volume of the full padding, elegantly framed by the piping around the seat and back.
