The idea behind the About A Chair collection, designed by Hee Welling, is to develop a chair with an obvious simplicity. A sober and pure design for this chair that works equally well around a dining room table, a conference table or in an office. The designer strived to combine form, function, detail and aesthetics. Danish company Hay publishes this collection, which features a wide range of colours and structures. The AAC 127 version has a steel base and an upholstered seat with a high back. About A Chair ensures optimum comfort thanks to its ergonomically shaped enveloping shell. A chair that perfectly symbolises the purity and understated, timeless style of Scandinavian design.
