Description
Originally designed for US Army submarines in 1944, the Chair Navy has been produced ever since. In a 77-step process, Emeco workers manually shape and weld the recycled aluminium, then treat it in salt baths to ensure its strength. Finally, the chair is anodised for a durable finish. The result is a lightweight, very sturdy, flame-proof, non-corrosive chair for indoor or outdoor use.This piece will work well in a variety of spaces, enhancing them with its iconic character. Emeco guarantees the 1006 Navy for life.
