Frank Gehry

Frank Gehry, born in 1929 in Toronto, is a world-renowned Canadian architect and designer, known for his bold and deconstructed architectural forms. His career has been marked by projects that challenge design conventions, notably through the use of unconventional materials and a unique sculptural approach. Although he is primarily recognized for his monumental architectural works, Gehry has also left a lasting impact on the field of furniture design.

Gehry is the creator of several iconic pieces, such as the Wiggle Stool (1972) and the Wiggle Side Chair for Vitra. These furniture pieces, made from corrugated cardboard, are distinguished by their sinuous shapes and organic lines. Their structure, while minimalist, evokes a sense of fluidity and movement.
